If your company is shutting down for any period of time over the holidays, remind employees about your after-hours policy. If there is no official policy, remind employees to make someone aware of their work plans if they will be going into work while the company is closed.
Even office employees should share their plans so someone knows they are in the building should an emergency situation arise. Some facilities restrict certain hazardous material work after hours or require that particular extra steps are taken.
