Employers are responsible for identifying and training workers on the appropriate personal protective equipment, fall protection, electrical hazards, and any other hazards that may be present during snow removal operations. There are numerous significant hazards associated with snow removal that need to be taken into consideration. Be sure to address the potential for falling ice and frostbite in weather conditions like we have experienced over the last several days.
