myRCRAid Comes to MA!

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MA DEP) has adopted the use of the Environmental Protection Agency’s myRCRAid system.  This online resource is now used to help obtain hazardous waste generator identification numbers and manage hazardous waste generator profiles.  Previously, paper forms were mailed in to the MA DEP, so this online tool will increase efficiency.

The myRCRAid system will also allow users to utilize the e-manifest system, which EPA is planning to launch on June 30, 2018.  The use of e-manifests will decrease paperwork and expedite processing times for everyone involved.  In order to begin using myRCRAid, individuals have to first create an account in RCRAInfo.  All generators of hazardous waste are encouraged to take advantage of the resources available to guide them through this process.  If you have not done so already, create your RCRAInfo account and begin the use of myRCRAid!
