Launch of myRCRAid in Massachusetts

For anyone that has been following the e-manifest updates provided by the EPA, you know that the myRCRAid module within the RCRAInfo Industry Application system is not available in MA to date.

EPA’s RCRAInfo Industry Application is used for site ID forms in the myRCRAid module, and biennial reporting in the Biennial Report module. Large Quantity Generators of hazardous waste are familiar with the RCRAInfo system, as they were required to file biennial reports utilizing this system this year. Small Quantity Generators and Very Small Quantity Generators have likely had no need to explore this system to date. If you have not created an account in the RCRAInfo Industry Application, now would be a good time to do so.

In the meantime, paper submissions of the Massachusetts Notification of Hazardous Waste Activity Form are still necessary for new generators of hazardous waste in MA. This form is required to be submitted for any entity generating, accumulating or shipping hazardous waste before the activity takes place. Remember generator IDs are site specific, so be sure to file this form before you start generating hazardous waste at your facility.
