The Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule was published in the Federal Register on November 28, 2016. This rule will be effective on May 30, 2017.
I am sure that many of you have been tracking the progress of this rule, and attending the various webinars that the EPA has been hosting to keep interested parties updated. The revisions to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act regulations will address gaps and inconsistencies in the current regulations to reduce confusion, as well as make significant modifications to update the requirements. Implementation of the e-manifest system is a huge undertaking that will undoubtedly take some time to get accustomed to.
