OSHA First Responder Operations Level (FROL) Training

Safety Partners presents a one-day training that provides certification to the First Responder Operations Level (FROL), as specified in OSHA’s hazardous waste operations and emergency response standard, 29 CFR 1910.120. This regulation is designed to help assure worker health and safety while performing work activities associated with hazardous waste and emergency response to hazardous material spills and releases.

Who should take this course?

This course provides a regulatory review, discusses hazard and risk assessment, and provides spill response guidance that can be taken by those individuals with this level of certification. Interactive spill response scenarios allow participants to strategize response to potential incidents.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize and avoid/mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Understand the actions, and limitations on actions, expected of a FROL-trained employee in the event of an incident.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and competence necessary to effectively respond to an incident.
